Sarah Sims is a student artist from Roswell, Georgia. She is graduating in May of 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Art, concentrating in Graphic Design from Georgia College and State University. Sarah intends to begin a career in Graphic Design once she graduates.
Project Statement
Vintage Vessels is a company specializing in high-quality, handcrafted pots and planters designed to combine vintage aesthetics with long-lasting durability. My parents grew a love for antique grape baskets and they sourced a factory in India to handcraft replicas. Unfortunately, production was interrupted by COVID-19, but now that the project is back on track, I developed the logo and marketing materials to bring their vision to life. I have created Vintage Vessels to be a distinctive brand that will stand out in its market.
Artist Statement
As a graphic designer, I am driven by the power of creative freedom. I believe that designing is a limitless medium. My passion is creating, whether that is by myself, or with others. Seeing the entire process down to every detail to the cohesive end is inspiring. I love to push myself outside of my comfort zone and explore new techniques. I have been inspired to create unique branding that will make a long-lasting impression for client products. I focused on building a visual identity that resonates with the target audience while also combining modern aesthetics with timeless design.
