Project Statement

The Eater’s Journal is a cooking magazine that explores the story of my family and how cooking has served as a unifying force in our lives. This publication considers bold typography, a robust color scheme, and complimentary structures to highlight the artistic and creative aspects of cooking, presented in both print and digital formats. Readers unfamiliar and experienced with cuisine will be inspired and reconsider their relationship with food and family.

Artist Statement

As a graphic designer, I am most drawn to branding and publication design because they seamlessly integrate into our everyday lives. Creativity is everywhere—on the backs of shampoo bottles and on the tongue of your shoes. My goal is to connect with people in the small moments and elevate the ordinary, transforming our seemingly mundane experiences into something special. Through bold colors and playful typography, I create designs that strike a balance between funky and classic, inviting joy and creativity into everyday moments.
