Project Statement
Kylie Noles Photo is a photography brand dedicated to honoring the fleeting, meaningful moments of life through a mix of posed and candid imagery. For this capstone, I expanded that mission into a full creative expression, developing a cohesive visual identity and client experience strategy that reflects the heart behind my work.
The project involved designing a primary and secondary logo, color palette, and typography system, as well as creating key client touchpoints; website design, inquiry forms, pricing guides, photobook layouts, print materials, and custom packaging. Through these elements, I sought to carry the same care and intentionality I bring to photographing people into every interaction and detail of the client experience.
Guided by principles of clarity, warmth, and reverence, this project positions my brand to continue growing beyond graduation while keeping each client encounter thoughtful, meaningful, and rooted in respect for the lives and stories I document.
Artist Statement
After coming to faith in college and encountering the nearness of death, my understanding of photography and design transformed. What once served as a creative outlet became a calling. As John 13 teaches, love for God compels a love for His people — and that conviction now shapes the way I see and document.
Through my work, I emphasize human connection, individual beauty, and the fleeting nature of life. Our lives are but a breath in the grand scheme of eternity. Having witnessed how quickly a moment can become a memory, I approach documentation with reverence, seeking to honor each person’s presence while it is here.
Influenced by the clarity and simplicity of Paul Rand and the expressive visual storytelling of Xiyu Deng, I strive to create designs that feel intentional. My process is thoughtful and relational, grounded in the belief that designing with care is an act of worship.
With my work, I hope viewers encounter the inherent value of people and enduring joy.
